Group Details For Kynren 2026
Group Description :
Saturday 12th September 2026 - An outing to Bishop Auckland to see the "Kynren" event - 'live, outdoor, action theatre taking us on a spellbinding journey through time'.
This is an outdoor evening event (sundown to starlight) and goes ahead whatever the weather. You are advised to wear warm waterproof clothes, to bring a cushion to sit on and a rug to wrap up in. It is described as a live action show to tell the story of England's past. The show is about 90 to 100 minutes long with no interval and includes jousting and ends with fireworks.
We will travel by Morse coach (leaving Easingwold at 4:30pm and returning about 11:30pm) with the cost including travel and entrance fee. There are 34 places available. The total cost will be approximately £50, but a £10 deposit is needed now. If you wish to attend please join this group.
NOTE: A system email will be issued once your group application has been accepted by the event coordinator - this provides all necessary payment details. This payment group has currently been set up to only receive deposits and will be updated later when the final cost is known to accommodate full payment. The Total Cost seen below is only the Deposit amount.
If you wish to pay by cash or cheque (payable to ‘Easingwold and District u3a’), please bring this to a monthly meeting.
